36" x18"x18" should only be used for a dragon under 6 months old or for a hospital setup.

You will need 2 bulbs, a basking bulb and a tube UVB bulb. White/Clear Basking Bulb. You can use reptile specific basking bulbs, or for a cheaper alternative, outdoor halogen flood lights. The basking bulb provides heat. Wattages will vary based on cage size & other factors. A dimmer is needed, as halogens can get quite hot. TUBE UVB (ReptiSun 10.0 by ZooMed OR Arcadia 12%)
Your tube UVB needs to span 1/2-2/3 the length of the cage. UVB should not span the entire length of the cage, to reduce risk from overexposure.

The easiest and safest substrates are: slate tile, shelf liner, paper towels, or newspaper (especially for new owners who should never use loose substrate).
Repticarpet is not recommended, it harbors bacteria and is impossible to disinfect.
NEVER USE THE FOLLOWING:
Calcisand/Reptisand, wood chips, pellets or walnut shells. None of these are safe for dragons.
For advanced keepers who want to use loose substrate, children's play sand is safe. You can also mix the sand with organic soil, but play sand can also be used alone.

All About SUPPLEMENTS
UP TO 12 MONTHS OLD:
Dust all live foods with calcium with D3 on every feeding, except 2-3 feedings a week, where you use a multivitamin instead.
OVER 12 MONTHS OLD:
Dust greens with calcium with
D3 on every feeding, except 1-2 feedings a week, where you use a multivitamin instead.
BRANDS:
Repti Calcium with D3 for every calcium feeding and Herptivite multivitamin for every vitamin feeding are great brands to use.
*Repti Calcium with D3 has less than 20,000 iu/lb of D3, making it safe for constant use. Be careful to note the amount of d if you're using another brand.
Dragons need calcium at a greater frequency than vitamins, & should never have a combined calcium/vitamin. The potency of certain vitamins has also been found to degrade when mixed

No. Don't use red lights, heat pads, etc. at night.
Dragons need a dark, cool down period at night.
